Electronics Technician Wanted!

Duration: 6-Month Assignment

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 2:36 PM

Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Pay Rate: $46–$53 per hour (dependent on skills and experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join a reputable and growing organisation. This is an excellent temporary-to-permanent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in electronics assembly, testing, and repair.

Key Responsibilities



Manufacture and assemble electronic components and products.



Operate basic hand tools, including screwdrivers, circlip pliers, pliers, and cutters.



Perform soldering, crimping, wiring, and engraving tasks.



Apply RTV silicone in accordance with specifications.



Conduct testing of electronic components and products prior to commissioning and upon return from use.



Inspect parts and components for damage and defects.



Carry out polarity checks using multimeters.



Perform voltage testing using various equipment, including oscilloscopes, battery analysers, and power supplies.



Diagnose and repair faulty or damaged electronic components and products.



Clean components and equipment to facilitate inspection and maintenance.

Requirements



TAFE Certificate in Electronics (highly desirable).



Minimum 2 years of industry experience in a similar role.



Strong understanding of electronic assembly, testing, and repair processes.



Ability to read and follow technical instructions and procedures.



Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

PPE Requirements

Candidates must provide:



Long-sleeve hi-vis shirt



Long work pants



Steel-capped safety boots
